Sparrows Nest - Wicklow

My husband visited me The Sparrows Nest on Sunday for the 50th birthday. We were warmly welcomed and shown a beautiful window seat. The food was delicious and the recommended wine was also. The staff were well known, very friendly and they have an off-menu main option for me, nothing was too much trouble. When the bill came, we were pleasantly surprised as it was only €97 for 2 starters, net, 1 dessert, 2 glasses of wine and a beer. I cannot recommend The Sparrows Nest, the food, the staff and the atmosphere are wonderful. It is worth a visit and we will definitely return. Maria

Myself and my wife had a lovely meal here the other night. Friendly and attentive staff, nice, interesting food and a pleasant atmosphere. Just over €100 for 3 courses for both of us and 2 (generous! glasses of house wine. Will certainly visit again. The fact that the kitchen isn’t hidden away also inspirers confidence, well done everyone at the Sparrow’s Neat!

Exquisite fish and chips, probably the best I’ve had since moving to Dublin 6 months ago. Highly recommend this place if you’re in town!
