Playa Azul Authentic Mexican - Wichita

Despite the sour Agua de Horchata and the water down Agua de Jamaica They have really good margaritas (mango,peach,strawberry)and their food was good too First time going on my birthday. I liked it and will go back again.

This was by far the worst experience of my life! The staff was rude as hell and acted like they didn't care. Our waitress asked very specific questions about how myself and my family wanted the food we ordered. But yet it all still came out wrong. Thenwhen we asked her to correct her mistakes she got an attitude and was even more rude. To the point that I was nervous to tellher she had my food wrong because I can't eat red sauce. So my family spoke up and she rolled her eyes like we was a problem toher. At this point I lost my appetite and didn't even eat! They are NOT friendly oriented people. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND NOR EATHERE AGAIN!!!

I absolutely love this restaurant! I always order the shrimp ceviche tostada. There aren't many places in Wichita that serve ceviche, but theirs is among the best. Plus, the service is really quick!

My workplace placed a takeout order, and I chose a lunch special from their online menu. However, when the food was picked up, I noticed I was overcharged. I called the restaurant to ask why my lunch special was $10.99 when the online menu clearly lists it at $5.79. They told me that they don't have an online menu! I couldn't believe it—I was literally looking at it! They insisted they had no idea what website I was referring to. What a joke! To top it off, the food wasn't even that great.

I would advise against ordering online from this restaurant, as they tend to overcharge and are not transparent when questioned about it. It feels like they are taking advantage of customers. Additionally, their recent health inspections reveal concerning issues: 7 violations in the latest inspection, 10 in 2021, and 13 in 2020. It's disappointing, especially since the food is typically quite good. It’s a shame to see a restaurant operate without integrity.
