Firehouse Subs South Rock - Wichita

I love the meatball sub here, nowhere else has beat it. Quick service, the tables could use some wipe down more often.

Was glad they understood the allergy my friend had and accommodated him.

When we arrived at the store it was not apparent to me where you were supposed to go to start making your sandwich. The environment was cool because of the firefighter equipment they had on display but I did notice a lot of their tables had not been cleaned. The employees were not exactly warm but they were not rude either. We did have to wait 30 minutes for our two medium sandwiches. I had the turkey, bacon, and ranch. My sandwich was good the meat probably being the best part of the sandwich but the sauce was not really there; to explain further it tasted more like I was eating a turkey bacon with Mayo rather than ranch and I did not really start tasting the veggies till I made it toward the middle of the sandwich. My fiancé had the firehouse steak and cheese. He did request that they changed the cheese on his sandwich to cheddar which they somehow forgot to put on his sandwich all together. My fiancé did like the flavors but had kind of the same problem I did with it which was the sauce he said there was too much Mayo on the sandwich. When it came down too it we were waiting to long on the food to sit down at the restaurant and eat together and do the review so we ended up doing it on the go.

I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and service. The food was fabulous and delicious. I would recommend Firehouse Subs to everyone!!!

Best Firehouse Subs in Wichita! Subs are tasteful with good portions for the price. I loved the Italian and engineer Sub. This is my favorite subchain compared to others. Staff are always inviting and receive my order every time you visit.
