I told her we would not be eating at the doo do diner. BOY WAS I GLAD WE DID! Doo Dah Diner is probably oneof the top 5 breakfast spots we have eaten at. Sophia was our waitress and she did amazing. Service was top notch. Especiallyfor the amount of people that were here. The wait was estimated at 20 minutes but we only waited 10 minutes. They are veryefficient with their service. Took our plates when we were finished, instead of leaving them on the table. I was thankful forthat because I wanted to keep eating but my stomach said no more! They said they were bringing homemade complimentary MONKEYBREAD to the table! I said, excuse me what did you just say??!!! That?s how it started! Monkey bread is great. I orderedthe fried bologna and egg sandwich with blueberry pancakes and home made hash browns. I suggest getting the dill havarticheese on it. It was very good. My wife had sausage gravy biscuit and two fried eggs. Biscuit and gravy were very good. Wegot a variety of foods and all of it was consistent and very good. Hats off to the cooks, bussers, and the wait staff! Thefood that was coming out to other tables looked just as good and well prepared. We will be back tomorrow morning for theBRUNCH BUFFET! I advise you to do the same!
Phenomenal service with food so good you would think your grandma made it! Came in during lunch rush, we had a 15min wait but were able to be seated much much fater than that. God made that one happen, ha. The complimentary sweet rools were amazing. Theturkey and au ju sandwiches where great. The breakfast calzone was mind blowing. The grave o'lort!!! Ohh and the bread puddingbe ready to come out with a sugar shock in the best way. If you're ever in Wichita you should definitely make your way to lovelyfamily dinner.
The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated, though parking is somewhat limited. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious! The Triple D dish is perfect for sharing and everything was tasty (don’t forget to try the biscuits and gravy!). The pancakes are a great option if you're looking for something simple. Overall, it offers fantastic food at a great price! I would definitely eat here again and recommend it to others!
As someone from New Jersey, I’m pleasantly surprised by how great things are here in Kansas, and it all starts with this diner. I regrettably forgot to take a picture of my food until I had already started eating, but from presentation to flavor, this is definitely a must-visit spot! The grits were the best I’ve ever had in my 25 years. The service was exceptional, too. Meesha was amazing, always making sure our coffee cups were full. She helped me upgrade from a basic breakfast to what might be the best breakfast I've ever had.
The crab cakes were the best breakfast dish I've ever had, without a doubt. It's a four-hour drive to the restaurant, and they don’t serve crab cakes every day. Honestly, I’d need to call the night before my visit because I wouldn’t make the trip just for any other dish. The only other place within driving distance where I enjoy crab cakes is The Lemp Mansion in St. Louis, which is a 5.5-hour drive away. Otherwise, it’s more than an eight-hour drive to find something similar. There’s a restaurant in northwest Arkansas called The Buttered Biscuit that has a dish that comes close, but it’s not at the same level. The Po Boy Factory in Huntsville, AL, serves the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. That said, Doo-dah’s dinner was very close in texture and flavor. I would definitely be willing to make an eight-hour round trip just for this dish again.
