Portions generous. Friendly environment. Prices reasonable. Breakfast yummy. Very accommodating. Family friendly.

The buffet is nice, but the decor is horrible. If you don't care what the place looks like inside, then you're all set.

The steak was alright, the home made mac and cheese is amazing. The atmosphere is a bit outdated but there is some nice art and photography. I cant comment on the Motel because I havent stayed there. The waitress we had was super nice but they needed more than one for sure. She was the only one working and was struggling to serve everyone. She was a good spot, even with my little child. Props to that girl, they need two of her at least.

Note this is my third experience with the restaurant. As someone who does not like buffets we ordered from the menu, first thing the staff rather stare at us then let us know that we can sit anywhere. They seem to have only one waitress and 3 runners for coffee. After ordering we decided to get wraps for lunch time. When the food came she gave me the heads up that my order may be wrong and to let her know, which made me extremely cautious and confused with each bite I took (turns out, it was right, but they did not put the right sauce which was not the biggest deal). The problem next is the food was terrible. The wraps were somehow greasy and felt like they were cooked in a bacon pan and the other wrap was not even cut and looked like this weirdly burnt sausage creation. It seems on the other wrap, which was a veggie stir fry also had cheese on it for some reason but did not say it would vegans beware. In short, you will be concerned with the sanitary conditions of the restaurant, the lack of hospitality from the staff, and the worst looking food in the area. Stick to Tim Hortons

We travel 3 hrs pretty much every weekend to our trailer outside Wiarton and eat at the Top Notch on Sundays before heading for home. Great breakfasts and nice buffet fully loaded. Had breakfast and dinner our last time up Easter weekend. You will not be disappointed.
