Bottle & Bird - WHYALLA NORRIE

I am new to Whyalla but have eaten here on three occasions.

You always get a little nervous when a business or restaurant has the name 'Vegas' in itI kept thinking 'cheap and tacky'Oh how wrong I was.

We were staying in the Westlands motel overnight, so tried the food here, the service was fantastic, providing cutlery for us to use for our meals. The kids meals were great with heaps of chips. We ended up with too many chips (but that's not a bad thing). The kids had chicken nuggets and chips and the included fruit box. For the adults we had a steak sandwich with the lot and the 1/2 chicken meal (too much food - we should have just shared the chicken meal). All the food was very tasty. Have no hesitation in recommending the Bottle & Bird. The place was busy with what seemed to be many locals also getting their takeaway (always a good sign).

Such a perfect combination - bottle-o and Chip shop!! Amazing viros pack!! Best hot chips and chicken in town and drive through take away i have had.

We had just arrived in Whyalla and had been driving for most of the day. The last thing we wanted to worry about was dinner.This place took the fuss out of it all. We had a lovely Chicken Salad dinner and grabbed a couple of drinks from the Bottle-shop. No fuss, No hassle.
