Rubi's Grill And Frosty Freeze

Rubi's Frosty Freeze holds a special place in my heart as my childhood restaurant! The image on the wall perfectly captures how I remember it. My family and I used to visit often enough to be recognized by the previous owner, Joe. Now, his son runs the place, passing the legacy to the next generation. I've been truly impressed by the numerous upgrades and renovations to the restaurant, while the food remains true to its original flavors. Some of my favorite dishes include taquitos, green burritos, chicken burgers, the enchilada plate (both cheese and chicken), banana splits, and shakes. My kids are especially fond of the guacamole fries! There's so much more I could say, but you really just need to experience it for yourself. #rubisfrostyfreeze

I've been a happy customer for more than 50 years. Even though I've moved away from Whittier, I still make the drive to Rubi's because their green chili, meat, and potato burritos are amazing. There's truly no place like Rubi's!

Special Quesadilla and Shakes are FABULOUS!!! Simply the best Local place.

Just as good as it has always been to eat at Rubi’s. Grew up eating here every week. When I am out visiting I always try to eat a special quesadilla at least once.

I love this place for breakfast. the burritos are hearty and filling. good prices! I'm yet to try their dinner and ice cream but will definitely do it soon. generally a favorite place to eat in my area.
