Schoop's Hamburgers - Whiting

Everyone enjoyed the loop experience, and it is something you should definitely try if you ever in the Indiana area. Just remember, as a burger specialty joint, you are looking for about $10 for your burger, pommes and drinking. As a western new Yorker, I know good burgers and loops ranks for the best. This Okapi gives them 4.5 stars.

Very nice classic hamburger connection- definitely choose this mom and pop chain via McDonald's. The crispy Lacy edges of my burger were so good, and I got a beautiful vanilla malt. The hamburger is very large so you don't need to order a page or get the smaller size if you also need some frits.

One of the best handmade hamburgers on the planet. Get all the toppings you want and eat there or have to go. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The food and not just burgers is fantastic for the price.

Excellent service, we arrived late on Sunday night with my mum who'd just flown in from England and she was hungry after traveling for 12 hours so what better way to welcome her to America than a slice of quintessential Americana like a roadside burger joint. Despite it being late at night and within an hour of closing time they were very welcoming and served us a wonderful example of an American staple. Thank you for a perfect introduction to the America, 1000% better than some monolithic burger franchise.

We arrived as they we're opening up making us the only customers there. It was a quiet place with lots of room with only two of us. There were a few people who came in who were regulars just to say hi then leave. The food showed up fast and hot. The burgers were good, but the fries were hit or miss of what was thoroughly cooked or not. I won't doing the place because my partner devoured them. I would say if you want peaceful dining this place will fit the bill. View is good!
