Historic Banning Mills - Whitesburg

The chef cooked up some amazing Boar/Gator! I've never had Gator, but this was incredible. The flavors were outstanding for both boar meat and gator. My friend ordered the chicken, and even that was amazing. I can only imagine what the other entrees taste like. From the cheese plate to the desserts, I was consistently impressed. Amazing food and amazing service. This is a peaceful retreat that offers zip lining, horseback riding, freefall, climbing wall, etc. A delicious country breakfast is offered each morning of the stay. The omelet that was cooked for us was perfect and fluffy. The oatmeal was actually good, and I don't really like oatmeal! Lol. I can't wait to come back here, for the food and the fun! Loved everything about HBM.
