Midori Japanese Takeaway - Whitehorse

Don't bother with the chain store takeaway version of Japanese food, go for the authentic experience instead. This tiny family-run restaurant uses beautiful, high-quality ingredients. They prioritize quality over mass-produced mall food that is typically delivered by vans all over the city. The food here is lovingly prepared on-site.

I tried the seafood Chirashi and was very impressed with the delicious blend of flavors and high quality ingredients. However, I was a bit let down by the portion size as I only received 6-8 small pieces of salmon and a large amount of rice for $17. Nevertheless, the quality of the dish was outstanding.

I enjoy good sushi, and this cozy restaurant has delicious sushi rolls that I would be happy to have again in the future.

Always fresh, always delicious. The best hand rollers are here. Very small as a restaurant, just a few casual tables.

Hunting for place for a quick light lunch for me....found this place and what a gem. Fresh sushi made to order....all good
