Sushi Village Japanese Cuisine

What a treat really great sushi that is fresh and well prepared with many interesting flavors and dishes. We enjoyed Maki rolls spider, tuna and salmon and some delicious, very light tempura. Everything was really delicious. Wash with some Sapporo and water and fill with ice cream dessert. Nice place with friendly staff who were very welcoming.

This place gets a star for two misses. Sushi tasted terrible and the customer service was as bad as he becomes. The manager, Jermaine/Germaine, was the most unpleasant person and should not actually run a restaurant or work in customer service. If the sushi tasted... fresh or even average, it would make up for the misery. Would recommend Nagomi or probably another sushi place above this. There are a lot of 5 stars of local guides on Google that obviously promote biased, but if you read the authentic reviews, you will see that other similar experiences have us.

Visited Whistler during their low season in October. We encountered many restaurants were closed, but their website did not reflect this. We wanted pasta, but these restaurants were closed. We landed here, but we couldn't have been happier. We sat immediately...had our order taken immediately and the quality and quantity of foods fulfilled to our satisfaction. The waitress was also super nice and gave good advice from the menu

We had a nice sushi menu for three adults in August. We ordered the phone and then called to collect it half an hour later. Right in the centre of the city. Looks good in there once.

My favorite is usually white tuna, and the albacore at this restaurant was local and amazing. We all enjoyed the local salmon in a variety of dishes. Service was quick (we didn't have a reservation and had to be done with our dinner in 55...minutes which was fine for our tired family). We also needed a change from the fish and steak restaurants around Whistler Village, and this was great for us.
