BG Urban Grill - Whistler

Stopped in for lunch, very happy to see breakfast menu available until 2 pm, allowing us to have omelettes. They accommodated extra items for one dish (must have avocado and crispy bacon). Friendly staff kept our water filled, made lovely chai latte and happy to provide tea bag on side with pot of hot water for Mum. Mum liked it so much, she said we would be back the next day for dinner. We did that and we all tried different meals, pasta, Philly steak and snitzle. Enjoyed all meals plus the desserts were amazing. Mum even got out camera to take photo before we could taste. Would go back if we were staying longer.

Ça y est on a trouvé le pire !!! Ce n'est pas bon et j'ai doublé la dose de japaleno de mon burger au gras ! Heureusement les serveurs sont très sympa même s'ils sont sales ... rappelons qu'ils ne vivent que des pourboires !

The Urban Grill is in the heart of the Olympic Village and perfect if you're staying in one of the many hotels there. It does serve meals all day: breakfast, lunch and dinner and probably everything in between too.Its a little like an American Diner and the food is similar too, steaks, burgers and pasta dishes too. Kids are welcome and there is a kids menu too.Overall the two of us had a lovely meal with no drama's and would probably go back if we were in Whistler ever again.Our bill came to C$ 56 approx all in with food, drink, tips etc which seems fair.

We arrived in Whistler and hunted out a place to grab some grub. We picked BG's as the menu looked great and there was gluten free options. Our first set of drinks arrived and they were perfect, we couldn't wait for the grub. Well about 15 minutes past and our waiter stops by and apologizes that our app was over cooked and we have to wait longer, and that it might come with our meals.. we were ok with that. he asked if we wanted another round, we said yes. A couple next to us who also came in well after us, reiecved their food. When our drinks came out for the second time they were wrong, our waiter stopped by and we made note of that and he took one drink back to make another one. When that one came it wasn't correct either. About ten minutes past since he last said our food would be up, still nothing. About 5minutes later we received our app. It was really good, so we couldn't wait for our meals. When our meals came out, they were wrong. But we continue to eat as we just drove eight hours. I was about three bites in when, grossly, I found a curly hair in my FoOod!! That was our last straw, our waiter was not attentive to us and didn't even listen to our request as one of us was gluten free. We ended up speaking with the waiter and he suggested we just walk out and the bill would be clear. We did so and went to Mongolie Grill, which was amazing.. definitely eat there!

Went out for a family meal and sat down at 9 after a 25 minute wait which was surprising on a Tuesday evening. After we sat down it took 15 minutes before someone came over to take a drinks order and a further 10 minutes before they arrived and I could see the drinks sitting on the bar for a few minutes with several waitresses just walking past them. Service all evening was slow however the waitresses always apologised and made sure we were alright. The food tasted great and was well presented. Was a mixed evening, the service was good and you can't blame the waitresses for the slow kitchen service. Probably would not return again but was a good meal.
