My friend Tracy and I had a marvellous milk shake at Poynton last week. We thought it couldn't be beaten, UNTIL we visited The Bridge Bakehouse. Wow!! the most amazing milk shakes ever. I had mint choc chip and there was so much chocolate in it I had to spoon it out at the end. Also, their menu is hugely entertaining, check it out and you'll see what I mean.
The best spots in the area don’t usually write reviews, but I stopped by to grab some coffee, breakfast, and a cake, and everything was fantastic! It’s clear they use high-quality ingredients; the yolks of the eggs were beautifully golden, and the bacon and sausage were delightful! The cakes were so delicious that I ended up getting two. Kudos to everyone involved—this place is a real asset to the community!
I visited for the first time while hiking in the area, and I was impressed by the variety of sweet and savory options, including gluten-free and vegan choices! There was outdoor seating, and the restaurant welcomed dogs, providing a water bowl outside. I ordered an Americano and a coconut latte, both of which met my expectations. I would definitely return to sample more savory treats. Great job, everyone!
I ordered three milkshakes yesterday, and after waiting 20 minutes with no sign of them, we decided to ask for a refund. They apologized, but the milkshakes we eventually received were just average—definitely not worth the wait. I don't think I'll be returning. It seemed like there was just one adult and some teens working, and they didn’t seem very organized.
