Restaurant Fischerhutte - Wetzlar

Food and service were good. Apart from that a little crout, which has its effect on duration, you need to wait for your order.

We camped on the adjacent campsite before we knock to Limburg. Had a beer in this wonderful place. Great atmosphere.

Do not let yourself be put by the outer appearance of this restaurant. On the side to the river Lahn there is a beautiful beer garden I think would be very nice in summer (Did not try this). Inside there is a tastefully renovated jewel of a restaurant. You can immediately say that the owners lead this place with much love and attention. The menu is big enough to make you nervous that it cannot all be good. But everything we had in our group was excellent and also a very good value. The restaurant seems to be very visited, so reservations are a good idea.

Came from the US on a business trip. My colleague and I stayed at a hotel nearby. When he suggested the Fischerhutte we both thought it was a seafood place. To our surprise, it was a Greek restaurant. Not knowing what to order, we asked...the waitress to bring us their most popular dishes. Started off with meat wrapped in a vine leaf!! I can say that I have never had something more delicious!!!! The flavors in it were so incredible. Then we had a sampler plate of all their dishes. Wow!!! Absolutely wonderful!!! I have travelled all over the world, ate at many places, and have never had better food. You won't want to miss this place!!
