フィードバックを提供するA friend of mine has been raving about dim sum for a while, so my wife and I decided to join her and her boyfriend at Seafood Cove 2, based on her recommendation. She placed the order, and soon enough, the dishes started arriving at our table. We enjoyed a variety of items, including siu mai, har gow, soup dumplings, steamed and baked BBQ pork buns, shrimp noodle rolls, roasted shrimp buns, egg and beet cake, and mini egg cakes. The food was served quickly, and it was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and courteous, which I really appreciated. I always enjoy family-run restaurants, and I would definitely consider returning for another visit.
As for the food, it was decent. We ordered our usual assortment of dim sum. I had shrimp dumplings, pork soup dumplings, shrimp rice rolls, beef rolls, Chinese broccoli, mussels in black bean sauce, baked pig beans, and pig bones. My favorite dish was definitely the mussels in black bean sauce. However, the rice rolls didn’t look very appealing; they seemed to have been sitting out for a while. The dumplings overall were pretty average compared to other Chinese restaurants. The cleanliness of the restaurant was a bit concerning. For instance, our teapot appeared to have only been rinsed out and reused without a thorough cleaning. On the plus side, the service was quick, and our dishes arrived promptly. Despite the drawbacks, I would consider returning for a quick dim sum fix, even if it meant waiting an hour in the car.
Wow! The food here was absolutely delicious! The Dim Sum was perfect—truly 100% amazing. We also ordered the lobster dish, where they let you choose how many pounds you want. They select a live lobster from the tank, cook it, and serve it to you with noodles, and it was so good! Just be prepared for a wait; we waited about 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. But the wait was definitely worth it. Five stars!
This is a good place, especially if you are used to the standard procedures of a dim space. It is a very lively restaurant that can be seen with staff and sometimes the quality of food. I have a few favorites such as chicken feet, beet cake and sticky rice, which is really the standard of the dimming sum I return to Asia. However, personal favorites such as har as and siu mai fell short of expectation. Overall, it is a good place to go when the craving dim sum.
The BEST Kung Pao Chicken in the county! Their Dim Sum is most definitely worth the wait, so be patient..as they're usually is a line. Great atmosphere and a staff that makes you feel at home! I love this place. One of my Top 5 Favorite restaurants in the nation!
