Graeter's Ice Cream - Westerville

The line was out the door at 8 PM on a Monday, which is a clear indication of how slow the service is. I asked to sample a flavor, and it took three different employees before I finally received my sample. My friend ordered a double scoop, but the cone she received wasn’t even filled to the top. By the time she got the cone, we had already paid, so we requested that the second scoop be added on top. Mia, the cashier, was extremely rude while ringing us up. She was aware that we were waiting for our corrected ice cream but still called the next person in line to the register without asking us to move or offering an apology for the wait. It took over two minutes to add the second scoop because the worker seemed more focused on chatting behind the counter. I sincerely hope management reviews the security footage to verify these details, as significant staffing changes are necessary. We used to visit this location regularly, but after this experience, especially because of Mia, we will not be returning.

What's going on with Mia at this location? I've grown up loving Graeter's, but this branch deserves only one star because of her. On several occasions, I've visited with my kids, and she's made the ordering process really challenging with her overly strict enforcement of arbitrary rules. My kids are young, and I'd like them to enjoy two flavors or maybe a milkshake without getting an overwhelming amount of ice cream. But when I request a double scoop and specify that I’d like two half scoops instead—and I’m more than willing to pay full price—she flat out refuses, insisting that scoops have to be full size. Why is that? Can someone at Graeter's please clarify what's going on here?

The best ice cream I've ever had! It's incredibly creamy, bursting with flavor, and packed with chunks. I think it's far better than Ben & Jerry's.

Literally the best ice cream shop there is. All of their flavors are amazing and although it may look pricey, they give you BIG SCOOPS. I personally like to get the Peanut Butter Chip flavor even though I don’t necessarily like peanut butter. The Peanut Butter Chip here is SO GOOD though and is the only peanut butter I will eat.Their signature flavor black raspberry and chocolate chip soloes everything though. They know how to make it good and everywhere else I’ve been has black raspberry chocolate chip that can’t compare to this one.Interior and seating is nice too, the place overall is quite big with outdoor seating as well. This place is usually very crowded but the line goes by quick and everyone just wants to have that Graeters fun.

Decided to drop in to check out the Westerville Graeter’s . I was greeted by Jaylin, he’s been working there for around 3 years. I ordered the Love Boat Sundae with Black Raspberry chip and Black Cherry chip. Both had great flavor and huge chunks of chocolate mixed in. The only thing wrong was the little candy hearts were harder than a rock. Time for a fresh batch, otherwise a great experience.
