Giant Eagle Bakery - Westerville

I did prefer the sushi from here but now they cut it thin like Kroger. Still have dry aged steak though.

I frequent this location often, they recently upgraded the store to a market district. Naturally the new selections tend to be pricey, but they still have a variety of sales, coupons, and the classic giant eagle reward points. One awesome note about the staff, is that for almost 5 years now i have recognized the same people working there. Given what all has gone down in that timeframe, it's clear that they have something that keeps people working there, so maybe a shout out to management on this one. Again it's the consistent batch of happy employees that make it a good shopping experience. Curbside here is nice and fairly consistent.

Clean, bright, great selection. No spoiled produce, no stinky fish, no outdated meats, plenty of checkout cashiers and working self-check. This is my new store. I'm finished with you know who, with their pickup spots in front of the main door and handicap spots in BFE. They've lost their way big time!

I haven't been here since the change to Market District. I noticed the new beer wine section, which looked like they had an excellent variety. I came for Barq's Red Creme Soda, which other stores don't carry. Also, they have a BellView stand, which also has their mustards, and we like their beer mustard. I didn't bring in my grocery bag and didn't realize that they had eliminated plastic bags. I bought a paper bag, the handle of which immediately broke, so a mental note for future stops.

This is a beautiful Giant Eagle. They have super fresh produce and meat. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The prices are the same as other Giant Eagles but the inventory is great. You can find almost anything you are looking for here.
