Silver West Feedstore - Westcliffe

As a Texan and someone who likes BBQ brisket, I was really disappointed with the brisket mac and cheese. Twice as much fat as meat on the bits of brisket, and it cannot be called BBQ, just cooked fat. The small bits of meat that were there were chewy. No slow cooking going on there. The hot BBQ sauce was good and sweet, but no hint of spicy. The limited menu was a disappointment also. Server was nice and atmosphere was ok, but I won't be back.

Stopped in after work. The best place in westcliffe for bbq. Sides are fantastic. Will definitely be back!

One would think with a rodeo going on all weekend in a cowboy town you would prep and have enough food....i guess not here thoughcloses at 9 but out of food at 730Edit... maybe a bit premature due to circumstances but could at least have tried to meet the demand

Food was ok, my friend’s chicken wings were still pink and bleeding so I’m not too sure that’s safe to eat. The food was not gourmet but just mass produced BBQ food. So a classic American BBQ. We were placed outside on the wooden benches and they were covered with spiderwebs which gave me a creepy crawler feeling. The food came out super fast though, not much waiting for food at all.

Hands-down, some of the best barbecue we’ve had! The feed store is a beautiful restaurant, and the owners are amazing. Please give it a try, you will not be disappointed!!!!
