Elevation Meat Market - Westcliffe

I recently made one of their homemade pizzas, and the only downside was realizing that I need to get a larger pizza stone! The dough was some of the best I've ever had on any pizza, and the sauce was even better than the dough!

The owners are very friendly, and the quality of the meat is excellent. They offer a wide variety of meats, cheeses, seafood, and some bread. I recently tried the Cajun Crab Dip, and it was fantastic! We always grab our hot dogs from here, and you really can't go wrong with the bark sticks!

I had a delightful experience spending a few hours with the fantastic team behind this amazing business. I was eager to learn how to make sausages, and they generously took time out of their busy schedule to help me understand the process in depth. I also purchased about five different types of sausage they craft in-house, and I'm thrilled that I did. So far, I've tried the summer sausage and the breakfast sausage. My partner has tried various brands of summer sausage before, and this is hands down the best we've ever had—it’s bursting with flavor and tastes incredibly fresh. This morning, we sampled the breakfast sausage, and all I can say is, wow! This is exactly how breakfast sausage should taste, and I never realized it until now. Thank you so much; we’ll definitely be back soon!

We are very pleased to have here in westcliffe elevations meat market. they have given the inhabitants a place to buy fresh fish, antibiotic free chicken, prime beef and so much more. everything we bought was high quality delicous. the truthahn for thanksgiving was the best of all time. so westcliffe silver cliff, even salida they have customers from there also) keep these new residents business owner theny, fawnda, evan, will be busy during this winter. as soon as they try out their quality products, they will also be hooked. jean

I felt the need to update my past review a bit. Pros: Local butcher and processor. Happy to have them conveniently in town. Kind, honest, helpful staff Quality meat (especially impressed by the decent shrimp and seafood) Have heard good things about pizza/have had good sandwiches. Excellent lunch option. Always always ask to honor our veterans and military members a discount. I’m neither, but so appreciate that. Cons: Can get a bit pricey for the level of quality. All the while, I have had conversations w/ staff and KNOW the realities of their shrinking margins. THANKS INFLATION! Do not blame Elevation 100% here. Have had a few iffy experiences with past employees some pretty long waits (20 minutes). This can make it hard to choose for lunch. I have heard from many now that the meats, cheeses, etc. are not as local as they’d have liked. All in all, Elevation will continue to have my business. I am thankful for them!
