Indian+Halal combo! This is a nice 2 in 1 restaurant mashup: Halal Chicken Rice, and Spice Grill. Halal spicy (mild, really) chicken platter above avg compared to typical NYC fare. Best halal chicken: King of Falafel Astoria. Lamb platter w paneer makhani Decent/worth a try. For better quality head to Hicksville IKEA area.

What a wonderful find. Indian cuisine that is delicious and inexpensive. The rice and salad platters are yummy and filling. I personally love the rice bowl which comes with red or fried rice, a choice of garlic chick peas orblack beans, a choice of lamb, spicy or regular chicken topped (or on the side), yummy white, cilantro, mint or my favorite chipotle sauce. The lamb is just out of this world and the small dish is packed high for just 6.99. They also have American cuisine like burgers, cheesesteak and fries. The server is a sweet young lady that will tailor the bowl to your liking and while it is best suited for take out, there are a few tables with chairs for eating in. I have become addicted to this place with good reason why. Delicious. Inexpensive. Quick service. Hope you try it out because you will not be disappointed.

I ordered takeout for Lamb Curry and Paneer Makhni. The food was delicious. Grubhub delivery was pretty quick too. Would definitely recommend.

What a fantastic find! Indian cuisine at its finest. I have been to this place 4 times over the last few weeks and the dishes are amazing and extremely affordable. I had a small rice plate which included a smattering of lettuce, cucumber and onion with a choice of red or fried rice, then a choice of black beans or garlic chick peas, then the protein which is a choice of spicy chicken, regular chicken or lamb. Finally you pick the sauce. My favorites are white sauce and a damn fine chipotle sauce. I have tried all combinations and it is delicious. I personally prefer the lamb because it is juicy and tender bits of the most delicious meat. The cost? The packed high dish is 6.99. For some it would last for 2 meals but if you have a great appetite then go large for 7.99 and there are family sizes too. From Indian cuisine to American cuisine to tasty sides and yummy bread. you will have a hard time not coming back over and over because the taste and price are unbeatable. Service is friendly and the food is always fresh. Takeout or stay you will not be disappointed.

I just had the best indian dinner in my life! Surprisingly from a small take out place. I hd butter chicken, dal,naan and rice. Everything was on point!!!
