Macarthur's At The Historic Thayer

Spectacular view. Food was mediocre. Lunch sandwiches were just okay. Waitress seemed to have an attitude. Forgot soup and because of her attitude we didn’t bother to ask for it.

It took over an hour to get our food and then most of our entrees were cool to cold. The server gave us 20% off (without us asking), but never came back to let us know of the delay.

The food was delicious. The staff was superb. We have nothing but great things to say about our experience. They were so accommodating to us all. I can’t say enough. The wait staff was truly amazing. I definitely recommend.

A nice meal in a storied atmosphere. We walked in and were seated quickly. Service was very good. Meals were served hot and were delicious.

Not sure where all the negative reviews came from. Wait staff excellent and very accommodating towards my picky kids. Food was perfectly prepared and delivered timely at the perfect temperature. I had the steak and it was on par with any steakhouse I’ve been to in my native Midwest. Spouse enjoyed the scallops. We would eat here again without any hesitation.
