Big John's Eatery - West Palm Beach

This establishment needs more stars! The ambiance, staff, service and food was amazing. The guy sitting next to us at the bar, this was his 3rd day in a row eating there. Im so glad we were able to try them out during our short 24 hr stay in west palm. When you have people willing to wait 45 min+ without complaining, you know its good. And lets not forget, very affordable, which is definitely what we need these days. Need Big John to set up shop here in Tampa.

The food and experience was extremely amazing. I had the oxtail and grits plus the chicken red velvet waffles..Arie the server was amazingly pleasant and sweet..I will definitely be back. You have a loyal customer now.

My husband says the customer service is wonderful inside...we ordered take out as I waited in the car for him to order. The food was so good! We ordered the chicken and waffles plate. The waffles were red velvet with icing and powdered sugar. The chicken were fried tenders that already had some type of a sweet drizzle on them already. My husband and I didn't even use the syrup we were giving. We shared the plate. It was worth the $16 paid. The only complaint my husband complained of was that it wasn't enough??...but it was clearly only for one person. He knew that before he ordered and said he wasn't hungry??.....anyway...I highly recommend this place, it was delicious!

This was my first time at Big John's. The decor was great! Surprisingly the owner was there. It was a Sunday, so understandably there was a wait to get a table. We ordered immediately after we got seated at a table. However, it took over an hour for us to get our food. This normally wouldn't be a problem, but the long wait time to get our food wasn't acknowledged by the staff and John until 10-15 minutes before we got our food. The food was great though. I had the traditional chicken and waffles. I would definitely go back if there is a time where the wait isn't as long.

This was our first time at the restaurant. Alyssa (apologies if i misspelled) was our waitress. It was a small little place, but the atmosphere was excellent. Alyssa was very accommodating and patient with us. The drinks and food, though... Yum!! My friends got mimosas, which were delicious. I did the Florida Boy meal with scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, bacon and biscuits. I ate every bit of it. Beyond scrumptious. I don't know what they put on the potatoes, but it just elevated the whole thing. And they had honey on the biscuits! Would absolutely recommend.
