Mario's Pizza Chipping Norton

I don't understand the negative reviews, the pizza here is absolutely delicious and I am a picky eater. Don't be deterred by a few random people giving one-star ratings - the food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect rating of 5 stars.

This pizza was probably the best pizza I have ever had. Even before I opened the box, the delicious and appetizing smell greeted my nose. The base was perfect - just the right thickness, fluffy, and with enough crispness to not be too soft or soggy. The crust was thicker and a bit crispier, making it better to hold and more enjoyable to eat. The tasty tomato sauce was evenly spread, providing a firm foundation for the cheese and complementing it well. The cheese had a creamy flavor, was stretchy, and not too oily or dry. The pizza was a good size for one person or to share. It was served at the perfect temperature - warm but not burnt. Overall, this was the perfect margherita pizza. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, around 10 minutes. I wish this restaurant was closer to my house!

As an Italian that loves pizza, even if is not even close to a real italian pizza, i can say that they make the best chippy pizza in the cotswold. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Visiting the area on holiday and decided to give Mario's a try after a long journey. Everything we ordered was very tasty and arrived nice and hot. Only slight criticism is that the delivery took about 90 minutes, but the order did say delivery can take over an hour during busy periods. Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner
