フィードバックを提供するReally good (I would like to say it is Cantonese style food) and reminds me of legit Hong Kong??? Flavours. The soups are also very delicious and fresh, a try not worth MSG soups. You also have Casserole/Claypot rice with the crispy rice! You can't even get that in many big cities!
This is the first time we?ve ever eaten here. we ordered teriyaki chicken, chicken lo-mein, and 2 orders of steamed pork potstickers. the steamed potstickers were good, but they were absolutely not even close to being done. they were extremely doughy and sticky. upon opening the second box of steamed potstickers, it was actually something that was absolutely not what we ordered, but instead, was fried and had a bunch of what i think was spinach inside of it? it wasn?t good, and it wasn?t what we ordered. the teriyaki chicken was just okay, the chicken wasn?t the consistency i was expecting, but whatever it?s nobody?s fault. but it just wasn?t my favorite. overall though, everything had a decent flavor. some things were just a little messed up and questionable.
Great little place for those seeking something a little different to scratch that itch for delicious Chinese food. Their selections seem more authentic to me. Though they have many of the standard Hong Kong style Chinese dishes that you 'll find anywhere, they also have a list of more authentic items that seem like a minefield to the unfamiliar. So far we 've tried the Princess Chicken, the Salt Pepper Chicken, and the Chengdu Dry Chili chicken, Garden Chicken, and String Bean Chicken. All have been fantastic, especially the Chengdu. One word of warning for those with a delicate mouth if they say something is spicy, they mean it. It may very well light up your face.
The serving portions were large and relatively inexpensive. I've had the fried rice with shrimp and pidan porridge. They were quite delicious. I wished that they had more accommodation for dining alone. Keep in mind that there is a service charge or $1 $2 automatically added to the bill that I wasn?t told about.
One of best restaurants you can find near Purdue. I always go for their Spicy Seafood Dry Pot, Stir-fried Eggplants with Potatoes(veggie menu) and Cheongdu Spicy Chicken.
