Sichuan Taste - West Hempstead

Love this restaurant! Every time we come here, it’s always a pleasant experience and excellent food.

We have been ordering from them since shortly after they opened. Every time we’ve ordered, their food has been very tasty and well portioned for the price. Very generous lunch and dinner specials. Definitely give them a shot if you’re in the area!

Yummy, delicious food! Pack in your patience, they get very busy!, but all will be worth it. Mandy is the front worker and is very accommodating and kind. We look forward to every meal that we have here.

Absolutely delicious. The chicken was crispy and just the right amount of spicy. The dumplings in chili oil could be my meal on its own. The sweet pork on the inside goes great with the spicy oil. I cannot wait to go back!

This is not a review of the food, but just a ‘heads up’ on their delivery priorities (or lack there of). I ordered on Uber Eats for delivery. After 40 minutes I looked on the Uber Eats app to check on my order only to find that Sichuan Taste had cancelled my order. I called them directly and they told me that they were too busy to process my order. They should not have accepted the order from my Uber Eats app in the first place. That would have been the right thing to do. I was left scrambling to find another restaurant for delivery at 7pm on a Saturday evening, and by then, delivery times were very long. Disappointing.
