Doghouse Saloon - West Hazleton

I'm a trucker and I was in bars all over the country and there was never a more friendly feeling than this place. Great service, great prices and Sherri the bartender was on site. Not to mention the locals also very friendly.

Welcome to the Doghouse! It may be a dive bar, but it serves the BEST wings. The drinks are potent, and if you're a smoker, you can enjoy your smokes here. The place has darts, a jukebox, slot machines, and TVs, though the number of each can vary throughout the day. They open at 7:00 AM. A little insider tip: the bartender often whistles something from the menu that you can’t find on the regular menu. I tried her sausage and paprika dish—DELISH!

This is a great spot to relax and enjoy yourself. The bartender, Meggin, was attentive and friendly. The food was tasty, and the prices were reasonable.
