Mcladden's - West Hartford

Large beverage selection and quite solid food options (if you get a table that is). It is a contrasting experience when you go on a busy weekend or a regular weekday. I prefer the less crowded times when you can get the waitress or bartender attention more often than once an hour.

Awesome little place in Hartford! The service was fast and friendly and the food was amazing. I got a thanksgiving stuffed sweet potato, which is something I haven't seen anywhere else, and it was delicious. Appetizers and drinks were great too. Most certainly someplace I'll end up at again if I am in the area.

Get ready to wait...the food was good and we were comped a drink, but we had to wait an hour to get food. Supposedly they weren't used to large crowds on Sundays.

1st last time here. We went for the burgers tonight. We had 2 Vegetarians 1 meat eater. 2 of our orders were fine, 1order was so screwed up, we actually felt we'd been served a rotten piece of meat. We got the manager and the best he could do was not charge us for BAD burger!

I have only been here during the evenings on the weekends. Both visits were poor. It was so loud you couldn't hear your guest across the table. Also, both times we were told that they had no potatoes. No big deal, but what was a big deal was that it was extremely slow and our orders were incorrect both times. One visit, they apologized and said they were short staffed; the next visit, they said the cook walked out. They comped a desert we didn't ask for, but charged us for it anyway. However, friends said that the lunch periods had no such issues.
