The Milton Inn - West Dunbartonshire

Book a restaurant and a bar at milton inn via booking.com. when we arrived the owners first statement was we will not be open late tonight. we arrived at 2.45 o'clock! he said that the girl will take her money, which turns out to be a very nice lady older than I turned out (I am 58!, . we used the cash, but could not have anything to eat, since the restaurant was closed and was a dae. we were asked if we wanted to drink the next afternoon, but since we didn't know when we would come back from what we arranged, we thought best to say no. we had breakfast, that was very nice, like the workers who served us. we had our meals and drinks at the hotel abbotsford 20 minutes away and would recommend them very much. will remain in the milton again and would not recommend it.

Owners manner leaves a lot to be desired. He is Just not cut out to be dealing with the public. Do yourself a favour and ' walk on by ' ! to a restaurant which appreciates your custom.

Visited the Milton Inn with my family for an evening meal. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Good value for money as portion sizes were huge. Good choice for vegetarians. Great choice for children too. Good parking facilities and next to A82. I would recommend...it!

We returned to home after a week in the highlands and stayed here as half a point. the lady who checked us was beautiful and the place looked beautiful and well maintained. our rooms were not in the main part, but in. a holiday home on the back. this holiday home is not suitable to be part of a hotel. every floorboard crawls, every door sleeps. the betten crochet and are solid. the shower was tiny. the walls are paper thin. our room had a beautiful view. there was nothing in the room to give them information about the location I.e Wi-Fi code, area, food options (as the restaurant is closed). we have booked for the Scottish breakfast at £6 and it was beautiful! I would stay here as long as I was in the main part of the hotel
