Cafe Valer - West Covina

We’ve been coming here for 10 years and absolutely love it! It’s like a hidden gem for coffee in West Covina. If you’re short on time, it’s best to order ahead, but if it’s during lunch hour, good luck finding a spot! This place is a refreshing change from other chain coffee shops like Starbucks or Coffee Bean. Their coffee isn’t burnt or overpriced, and you’ll find yourself craving their food. Once you try it, you won’t be able to stop ordering more! Everything they serve is just so delicious. To wrap up my thoughts on this wonderful place—enjoy!

Cafe Valer was fantastic! A few days ago, I ordered a turkey club, which I believe cost around $12, though I might be a little off on that. The café offers both indoor and outdoor seating, and my friend and I chose to sit outside to enjoy the lovely weather. The turkey club was served in a timely manner and it was delicious, especially with the sourdough bread. Both the cashier and the server who attended to us were friendly and accommodating. It’s surprising that I hadn’t visited before. My friend mentioned that Cafe Valer has been around for over a decade! I definitely plan on having the turkey club again the next time I visit the mall.

The food was excellent! I was pleasantly surprised to find beans and rice included with the Chipotle chicken dish.

This place is great! Good food options. You can get a healthy protein dish, or splurge and get a sweet treat. Food tastes fresh and not prepared. Each of his employees was really friendly and seems to work there. We? Are we going to eat healthy for the next time?

Delicious brunch spot! I always get the Chipotle Chicken Avocado. They have açaí bowls here too!
