Lily Sweets - WEST BLOOMFIELD

This place is horrible! I ordered a birthday cake and gave them a picture, they couldn't even do it correctly. The top was supposed to have chocolate covered strawberries, they left some plain and the rest barely had chocolate, looked horrifc. Poor quality..the cake breaks when you put in the candles. The taste was average. The staff was not helpful in resolving the issues.

First time: walked in, to get a slice of cake and asked us to order in advance for single slice of cake)2nd time: went to west Bloomfield branch, same thing, all they have available to buy over the counter was baklava.3rd time: decided to gave them a 3rd chance, since reviews were good about their cakes) ordered a birthday cake for my son, lady confirmed the order and took all the details.On the day of pick up, the guy at the store told us that they don't have our order.You cannot run a bussiness like that. What kind of bussiness model is that, which is based on the convenience of f the owner and not consumer driven.

Absolutely terrible customer service and horrible attitude, I ordered a vegan cake (eggless) and specified 5 different times before I ordered it AND picked it up that it MUST be dairy-free and nut-free due to an allergy. They were negligent and confirmed all 5 times that the cake was dairy free when it indeed was NOT. My friend had an allergic reaction to the custard and when I called back, 1 person was kind enough to take my number, take the cake back and supposedly the owner was supposed to call me and give me a refund. The owner never called so I called back and they claim that I never said dairy free, when I called 5 times and asked before paying that its dairy free and eggless and they confirmed it was every single time. They don’t understand what “deathly allergic” means. Never coming back here ever again.

Lily sweets is amazing. I always order cake, and other types of sweets and and all of them are very delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Hot garbage. Paid for unskippable YouTube ads, and then entirely prevent you from going on their website without adding an email to their list.Absolutely nothing negative about the product that I will now never consider buying, but absolutely abhorrent marketing and site.
