Spice Lounge - West Berkshire

On September 2nd, my husband celebrated his 80th birthday at Spice Lounge with 16 family and friends. We provided our order ahead of time and had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to bring in our own cake to decorate beforehand and even put candles on it and brought it out at the perfect moment. Everyone had a wonderful time.

I visited this restaurant with my family on Wednesday. We ate from the happy meal menu. The food was cooked to perfection. I especially enjoyed the nann bread!!! The staff were friendly and the drinks were flowing without any wait times. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Also I have visited on many occasions the Sunday buffet.

Have always enjoyed coming for a curry in the local area. Always met and greeted by friendly faces and the staff always go above and beyond. Lovely food never had a bad meal and would always recommend.

From outside the restaurant looked very run down and tatty but seeing reviews thought it would be good, how wrong we were! We were asked if we were local but said no from then on the service dropped through the floor. We ordered Chicken Korma was so chewy we thought we would get lock jaw , the food was not kept hot for more than minutes. The worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to in over 40 years. The place was empty apart from 1 table I wonder why! I would not recommend, interesting to see the last 5 star reviews were from locals.

The food was absolutely delicious. I went for Happy Night on a Wednesday and left feeling very satisfied. The food was tasty and well worth the price. We decided to try something new and were not disappointed. I definitely plan on returning. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very attentive.
