Frog & Toad Bistro - West Banks

Pub grub at it's best, real value for money. I liked the idea that you could help yourself to a salad bar and hot veg with your main meal. No one should go home hungry after this feed. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I love the menu it's almost like eating at nanas, corn beef or lamb chops. Get you own veggies and salad. Cheap and good value for money.

This pub has good food great staff close to show grounds Townsville but what let's it down is the people( one in particular) that lives up stairs that thinks it's there's living room, if they get rid of that certain person it would be a more friendly pub

Visited this hotel years ago and food was great and returned back there while on holidays and the food and service is still great.

We've been going here for years and have always enjoyed the great food and casual family atmosphere, which is why last night's visit was such a disappointment. I usually have the crumbed almondine Barra, which is what I ordered last night. Usually the piece of fish almost covers the plate. When it arrived, it was less than half the size of what we'd had previously and very thin. The crumb on the fish was soggy and the vegetables were waterlogged. And they'd run out of coffee! At 7pm on a Saturday night.
