Orangerie - Werder (Havel)

Simple, well maintained restaurant with large terrace in sunny, quiet garden with lake view. Friendly, brave hostess. It has the form of surgery that is caused by the situation in the best grip. There is enough room to keep guests healthy. Beverages immediately in self service. After a short waiting period, a Brandenburger plate came, which had it: fresh, extensive, nicely assembled, in principle two pensioners could be fed well. Then you can spend the afternoon with a fruity gray burgundy, go to the shore and the investor platform more romantic, more sea views. Beautiful excursion destination, where it is located in the extensive complex (big court shop with ice cream café; Herbal garden) also children will certainly not be so boring. I just saw happy ice skating. Many parking spaces are available on site: (two dedicated parking spaces at the top of the café/hoof shop and also at the bottom of the orangery. Much more space is next to the old greenhouse). For my terms, a very suitable place for cyclists. The toilets are clean.

On the terrace you can sit very nicely, overlooking the lake. The interior is a typical day tour. Nothing special, but well maintained. The menu of food and drinks is the Buckthorn from the Buckthorn garden Christine Berger very in the center of what I find great. The small map (seasonally adjusted) offers various dishes that are pleasantly different from the usual. I had the wild burger where the sauce and the salad dress were tasted with a humphorn. Delicious meat, good sauce, delicious salad, rather boring burger rolls. Although it was not yet full, it was noticed that the service quickly reaches its limits and everything seems somewhat unorganized.

Very nice place for a Sunday trip. Lunch was delicious with regional cuisine. Large selection of homemade cakes with sea buckthorn.

Der neue Betreiber / Pächter ist ne absolute Witzfigur. Lässt menschen für sich arbeiten und zahlt nicht. Man kann jedem nur abraten von diesem Geschichtenerzähler..

Nachdem meine Frau und ich in der Orangerie vor einigen Jahren unsere Hochzeit gefeiert haben, gehen wir hier immer wieder gern zusammen essen. Auch mit der Familie kann man es sich sehr gut gehen lassen. Die Bedienung ist immer freundlich, zu vorkommend und fachkundig. Die Speisen überraschen immer wieder mit leckeren Sanddorn-Specials. Und die Location selbst direkt am Glindower See ist in jeder Jahreszeit ein Traum!
