The Hedgehog - Welwyn Garden City

This charming little pub in Welwyn Garden City is located not far from the Kricket Club and The Big Small Place. The staff are welcoming, creating a friendly atmosphere. Drinks can be a bit pricey, but that’s to be expected. I believe it’s a fantastic venue for live music. I attended a live music event there last weekend, and it was truly enjoyable. I had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it for a fun night out and some dancing!

I had an excellent evening watching the game and enjoyed the best pint of Guinness I've had in a long time. It was definitely worth the visit. Great job, everyone!

This is an incredible pub with a fantastic atmosphere and attentive staff. It's a true representation of what a pub should be, offering an excellent selection of beers. During the pandemic, they have gone above and beyond to ensure customer safety. I highly recommend this place!

This is a lovely pub that embodies the true essence of what a pub should be. There are no extravagant meals, just good beer and a bag of nuts.

I've been living in the area since 2004, and The Hedgehog has changed ownership several times since then. I must say, it’s probably in the best shape it’s ever been right now. The new owners have made some great updates. The beer is reasonably priced, there are sports on TV if you're interested, and the beer garden is a good size. Plus, the locals are a friendly group too!
