Satay Palace - Wellington

I've been coming here for 15-20 years, and it's my favorite place in Wellington! The food is fantastic and incredibly affordable. While I often order the Nonya chicken, all the dishes are excellent. You really can't go wrong here!

This restaurant is always bustling with activity. I tried the Hainanese chicken, and it was delicious. Despite placing a phone order and the crowd, my food was ready in just 10 minutes. I will definitely return!

I've been dining at this restaurant for over two years, and that speaks volumes about its quality. I keep returning, even after moving to Lower Hutt with my wife. If I could give it six stars, I absolutely would. The Lamb Rendang is nothing short of incredible—I'll keep enjoying it for as long as I can. If you’re in search of exquisite food, this is the place to be. Never change, Satay Palace!

Went here for dinner and loved the Hainanese chicken rice dish! Very good portions for $13. I would definitely come back here to try the other chef specials.

First time here at it was so good! Loved the vegetarian dumpling tom yum noodle soup, the mee goreng, roti with peanut sauce and the Chinese tea! All so great. The service was awesome as well, the lady was very polite and friendly. Definitely recommend!
