Floriditas CafÈ - Wellington

Delicious food, healthy choices, lovely decor, and I highly recommend it!

Busy cafe in the heart of Te Aro and it's easy to see why. Staff were quick to seat us, despite the interior being at near capacity. The menu offers many delectable, yet healthy options. I was a bit reluctant to order a salad, fearing it may not be filling without some extras, but had nothing to worry about. It was more than enough to satisfy. My pal also enjoyed her salmon dish.

Among the highlights at our table were a squid starter that had the perfect tender bite, accompanied by a delightful salad, grilled asparagus with borlotti beans, and pancakes filled with walnut, apple, and chickpeas. We also enjoyed slow-cooked lamb and some delicious desserts that were perhaps unnecessary but truly excellent. We kept the staff on their toes by arriving late and staying longer than we should have, yet we never sensed any impatience from them, regardless of any private frustrations they may have had. Our waiter from Liverpool was notably thoughtful and friendly, humorously reminding us of the saying that you can take the man out of the place, but you can’t take the place out of the man.

Always a wonderful experience with delicious food. It can get quite busy, so I recommend making a reservation. The eggs are consistently cooked to perfection, and it's a lovely spot to enjoy breakfast.

HAVEN’T BEEN DISAPPOINTED by any Italian restaurants in Welly so far. The dinner tonight was definitely beyond what I had been looking for. For restaurants, it might be a little bit expensive, but for a standard Italian restaurant, it’s worthwhile
