Was excited to try this place as it was halal. Ordered the Jaloff rice with turkey and to my disappointment the turkey was extremely dry (not fresh). The rice was okay Smokey and tasted good. Service was very poor, the woman at the counter did not have any people or customer service skills at all. Prices are extremely high. Expect paying 30 bucks for a plate for one person…Tried other restaurants with same African cuisine and this was by far the worst…

In the past I have had little issues with Ameens kitchen but this time I had to just leave a review because this is just sad. I ordered 3 ofada/ayamase sauce this week and all 3 of them had just 1 egg each and just 3 extremely tiny piece of beef tripe (shaki) and beef skin(kpomo) mixed.I fail to understand how this is 20 dollars each it’s just very sad

They had great food but now give extremely small quantities for double the price. I understand the inflation crises but if you are going to raise the price, why reduce the quantity of food? I spent $45 for such a small amount. You will regret buying from here.

Had my aunties birthday at Ameens Kitchen and the service was amazing almost as amazing as the food . 10/10 recommend. The staff is lovely and the atmosphere is top grade. Amazing chief. I personally recommend the jerk chicken with jellof rice.
