Steak 'n Shake - Weaverville

Today, my wife and I went to Steak Shake for lunch, only to find it closed with chains blocking the entrances and a security camera sign. Upon returning home, we checked online and found that the website was still active with no mention of the closure. What is happening with this place?

I have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant, but today I was disappointed with the paper-thin piece of meat on my steak burger. I plan to call and voice my complaint. On the plus side, they did serve a generous portion of French fries. However, if this is the standard portion of meat they are now serving, they should consider removing the steak burger from the menu.

As per the owner, who was seen blocking off the entrance today, this restaurant is now permanently closed as the owner is retiring.

Yo how uneducated are y'all? Hours never accurate, why y'all closed at 7 pm on a Tuesday but Google says y'all are open? Incompetent is hardly the word. Absolutely disappointing and outright appalling. The Asheville area would be better off without a steak and shake, given this is the poor excuse of one we have. Franchise owner must be a first timer. I've never ran a restaurant but I could do a hell of a lot better.

It was pretty good. There was not as much garlic on my burger as usual. Also didn't get any straws, napkins, or ketchup. We parked on the side of the building when we got to the door we realized it was exit only. We walked around the building to the entrance to see a sign saying dining room was closed. Would have been nice to see that on the other door instead of walking around.
