Tuscan Slice - Waxahachie

Wow I think Tuscan Slice is trying to price themselves out of the restaurant market. I understand about raising prices but they have gone way up. $21.00 for spaghetti meatballs is absurd.....I asked them if they had payment plans ... before making my order.

Food was delicious . Service was good, prices were a bit high, however we will be back.

The garlic bread was so good!! It was soft and had the perfect amount of garlic, it is unlimited also! The oil and balsamic was just your standard oil and vinegar, nothing to write home about. The veal was very good and a huge portion. The only thing I thought was a bit over bearing was the acidity of the tomato sauce, I think it could have used a little spiciness to it to really balance things out. My friend got the steak Oscar, this was a lump crab cake, on top of what was described to me as a basic sirloin, underneath very creamy mash potatoes. The only gripe I heard him say was the asparagus was over cooked and a bit tough. The service was awesome and our waiter David was incredibly attentive which we always appreciate. Overall, I give this place an 8.6 out of 10.

This is a great place to bring the family in for a good filling meal. The service is great and the food is very tasty. The restaurant feels very family friendly and even has space and a variety of menu options for large parties. My go to is the Margherita Wood Fired Pizza and really enjoy the fresh bread brought to the table while we wait.

Food is good. Bread is hit or miss lately. Usually it's soft and garlic butter glistening but tonight is was crispy thin like pita chips. Server didn't seem to understand they were not typical, so he was either new or had never tried the bread? Service is also hit or miss, last two times it was a miss. Recommend the pizza because the dough is really good. Pasta dishes are also good. Soups are tasty and original. Panini's also fresh made. Definitely worth going back. Relaxing to sit in the bar area and drinks are good, but it's only offered to sit in that area at night. Kid friendly in main dining room.
