El Tequila Salsa Llc - Wausau

The food is amazing, the ambiance is lovely, and the service is excellent.

We love El Tequila Salsa and eat here at least 2-3 times a month since the restaurant opened. My husband loves the molcajete and my parents are big fans of the shredded beef taco salad. Their margaritas are tasty but beware of the ‘large’ size (it took three of us to drink this). Recently prices have increased and service is a little more scarce but we are willing to pay more and be patient for such good food and to continue to support our favorite restaurant. If you want to splurge a little, get some of the tequila shots!

Had 2 colada margaritas the platter with 4 different choices. Each dish was different in taste. Well presented on the plate and hot The margaritas very good over ice. This dish represented the menu well. Spoiled me because it was real good Mexican food. The service was fantastic helpful polite. When I choose Mexicsn this will be my go to restaurant.

Food is very expensive for it to not be ?authentic? Mexican food. The picture is of a tamale. Being from Mexico myself I have never seen a tamale with the salsa being on the outside like this. $16 for a Mexican sandwich is ridiculous. Two stars because even though the food wasn?t authentic the bartender had great service.

Absolutely made at home delicious food. David was an amazing server. Sweet courtesy. He made my mom a fresh coffee.
