China V Star Buffet - Waukegan

Only 4 stars because I hate plastic forks and foam sheets.

Fresh food Everytime we come here! Love their crab Rangoon, spring rolls, white noodles and any chicken dish they serve. Everything is very tasty and there is so much food to choose from. We always take out food, but there is so much room to sit you don't have worry about having to wait. If you have never experienced this location, I say at least try it once. You will not be sorry you did!

Food was really good...but... bathrooms were horrible, can't put toilet paper in toilet ? Almost no lighting in men's bathroom and piping on urinals is green and corroded and don't flush was told by 91 yr old mother that handicap stall closed in women's bathroom...they don't wipe counters around the buffet often enough.... They use the cheapest and crappiest napkins and plastic utensils I have ever used in any restaurant or at a picnic in my 54 yrs. ...lighting needs to be just a little bit brighter in restaurant....if they would make these changes...I will give them a better rating. I will come back once to see if they get this and make these changes.

Sushi looked very dried out like it was old so I didn't even try it even though I typically love sushi. My family that did eat it, didn't like it. Good selection of food but again a lot seemed as though it had been sitting there a long time even though we were there shortly after noon. Bathrooms were dirty and this is the first place I've ever seen ask you to not flush the toilet paper.

Good place to eat with family. Not very friendly always have to call to get a refill. Bathrooms are bad. Tip is added.
