Applebee's Grill - Watertown

The food was good and quite fast. The service was excellent. We had a fairly large group with some small children, so it was a challenge for the staff. I don't often consider myself eating in a place like Applebee's, but I'm going back to Watertown.

Reasonable prices and the food was still hot when we got served. Compared to my last few visits at Applebee's locations in the cities, Watertown Applebee's has been the best one yet as far as food quality, prompt service, and friendly staff. I will be back

I visited at a reasonable hour and have always enjoyed Applebee's, but this time it didn't meet my expectations. The food was cold, and while the beverage refills started off well, it took a long time for us to receive our bill. Getting takeout boxes was a bit of a challenge. The staff were friendly, but it felt like they wanted to avoid interacting with us. Since the restaurant was only open on the bar side and that area was only half full, we ended up feeling like we needed to take care of ourselves. The service I received was what I would have expected if the place had been crowded.

Overall, it was a decent experience. I ordered the Sirloin Steak, salad, and potatoes, which were all cooked well and tasted great. My wife had the oriental chicken salad, and she enjoyed it as well. As a nice touch, I also tried a local root beer that was quite good. The service was quick and friendly, and they clearly take cleanliness and social distancing seriously.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and a friendly staff. The decor features local themes and artwork, adding a lovely touch. The food was enjoyable, and the waiting time was average.
