Tim Hortons - Waterloo

I've only visited this restaurant a few times, but each time, I noticed there was a limited selection of baked goods. Whenever I inquired if they had any more in the back, one employee completely ignored my question despite my repeated asks. Another staff member went to check but didn't seem pleased about it. One employee was happy to help by going to the back, while another claimed there was nothing there. When I asked if she could double-check, she did and returned with the item I was looking for.

This Tim's recently transitioned to 24-hour service, and the experience has been disappointing. The staff consistently fails to prepare coffee properly. In my five visits, involving two different employees, my double-double coffee has been overly creamy, barely resembling actual coffee. Brewing fresh coffee at night would likely solve this issue, so it’s puzzling why the staff seems unaware that customers want a cup of coffee, not just warm cream. Avoid visiting at night if you don’t want to waste your coffee money, as that seems to be the fate of these poor-quality drinks.

I have never visited a worse Tim Hortons. Barbara was incredibly rude to a group of elderly customers who were simply trying to rearrange some chairs. Instead of being understanding, she began yelling at them. It would have been nice for her to show a better attitude.

The manager was extremely rude and seemed very entitled. Instead of correcting the drink order, they made excuses and displayed a disrespectful attitude. Additionally, the manager was unkind to the staff in front of customers. I strongly recommend that you improve your hiring practices!

I only visit this restaurant for convenience. This morning, I observed two white women—one apparently the shift supervisor and the other likely the baker—standing around while the place was really busy. Meanwhile, the four other employees, all immigrants, were working hard to keep things running smoothly. It was quite disappointing to see this, especially in such a multicultural city. This location, as well as the two women, can certainly do better.
