The Freedom Hub - Waterloo

Staff not attentive enough, food seems to have just been thrown together, cooking of bacon and eggs seems to have been done through a sandwich press, to pay an extra $3 for the flattest crispiest 1 piece of bacon is not good! Cutlery doesn't even cut through the toast, shame as the venue itself is a great space and a great cause, don't think the staff or the food represent this, no love involved so it seems. I don't think I'll be returning anytime soon

Had the ham and cheese meltie, and it's very good but rich. If you aren't super hungry try sharing with a friend. You can always get another one. :)

Not only did I get to enjoy a great coffee and banana loaf at the Freedom Hub, I got to support an amazing cause by doing it. Not to mention that the location and building themselves are beautifully laid out. A lovely quiet place to enjoy your time.

This cafe is light and airy, with great staff and excellent food. I come here for brunch regularly. It is so refreshing to have a cafe that cares about where their food and coffee have been sourced, and is helping rehabilitate people who have experienced slavery in Australia. I have also been to the Freedom Hub at night when it was used as a venue - and what a venue! Perfect for functions and parties, and the catering was really well done.

Came here for a business lunch. Excellent service, great friendly staff. Fantastic food. Would be an incredible venue for business events.
