The Sweep - Waterford

I asked could I get orange juice instead of coffee due to health issues. Was told by server she would check, orange juice and breakfast arrived, on paying I found I was charged for the orange juice. So I didn't leave a tip. Not impressed, as a local and regular customer I won't be in a hurry back.

We stopped here on the way home from a hospital visit. The first thing that hit us going in the door was the smell of pee from the toilets inside the door. The food was bland. We had the chicken and did not Finish it. The place inside just did not look clean. The servers were pleasant. Probably won't call again.

Over from England visiting family in Kilmeaden. We ate at The Sweep twice for dinner and once for breakfast. Excellent choice on the menu especially with the specials board too. Couldn’t fault the quality of the food or the portion sizes. All the ladies working there were so welcoming and friendly, excellent service. Thanks so much!

I love this place always good food really nice bar staff ,sometimes it might be busy and you have to wait for a table but it’s worth the wait ,

Decided we wanted to try something new and said let's try the sweep bar.,well we should have swept passed it. We found seats and were ignored when we tried to ask for menus. When we finally got the attention of a server, he looked at me as if I had asked him in Swedish. Then we were told that there were 6 tables ahead so there would be around 15 min wait. Happy to wait we asked if we could see the specials board as we were not offered one. There seemed to be one person taking orders in the entire inside and out of the bar. When people that had just arrived in the place started to get orders taken after nearly 40 mins wait we decided to leave.
