Supermac's - Waterford

I had a great meal at this Irish twist on a classic American restaurant. Although the food took a bit of time to come out, it was served right to my table and tasted freshly made to order. I really liked the VegeBurger and would definitely order it again. There was a staff member clearing tables and keeping the restaurant clean during my visit, so it had a nice and tidy atmosphere.

I had heard that this restaurant was a staple in the community, like an Irish version of McDonald's that takes pride in using local Irish ingredients. Since I am not a fan of McDonald's, I decided to give this alternative a try. Unfortunately, I found that it had all the negative aspects of the larger fast food chain that I dislike. The food was cold, the napkin dispenser was empty, and the restrooms were closed. The only positive aspect was that there was a fight happening in the entrance area, coinciding with the arrival of a group of rowdy young adults returning from a bachelorette party.

Poor experience. Very slow and cold food received. . 20 mins for a cheeseburger meal ! All newbie staff. Used to be far more efficient

After ordering online and getting a few items not recieved decided to give them another chance . So ordered online for collection . Went to supermacs to collect my order they could.nt find my order they then found it and perpared it . When i went home there was still an item missing . I give up there a disaster and even in supermacs baronstrand street is.nt the busiet of resturants , they are standing around and still can.t read a receipt for collection properly . Never again will i ordered anything from here again . They all need retraining .

Dropped in for a coffee and ended up having a pizza. It was delicious and very filling. Made fresh to order. Worth the wait. Very busy spot.
