Ferme Auberge Stroberg - Wasserbourg

My partner's group of old friends arranged the dinner for 14 in this top of the mountain above the historic town of Munster in Alsace region, The road to reach this rustic farm house restaurant just stunning. You've passed several farm house restaurant (ferme auberge) on the way and each time, we were yet there, until we couldn't go higher and there it was, the secluded yet open view from the beautiful Alsace to Germany as far as your eyes can see, a rustic cozy looking auberge promising a refuge from the nippy weather at around 9 degree Celsius early in September. Walked inside, you were greeted by familiar and friendly staff, the family who runs the farm and the restaurant. The set menu was either the bbq style of assorted thin sliced meat of veal, beef, and pork, or a palette fume, which is the house specialty of smoked pork served with potato and preceded by tourte. The former comes with electric hot plate to cook your meat on. Dessert was out of this world good. All in all, every tummy was full and happy, so as our taste buds. What an experience.

An inn farm that offers local products and a generous, authentic and tasty cuisine. this first hike in the Vosges allowed us to meet a terroir, a cuisine and beautiful landscapes.

I say bravo for this pierrade evening.Super meats for this pierrade and roïgabrageldi the best in the valley. I knew for the marcaire menu always very good.Service nickel by ushi, sister of the boss and good little gentian to finish.

On this beautiful day, we hike and arrive at the stroberg farm in the late morning. The place is splendid, just like the view, we find the busy staff to prepare all the tables for lunch. we ask for a coffee I used the servant. Without a problem, a young person would get us a table that she just had to prepare and take care of us. this state of mind impressed us and visibly it is in agreement with what we could see from the establishment. we had not reserved a table for lunch, but it is certain that we will return there very soon.

Superb home excellent very good cuisine has correct price and constant quality must go !!!!
