フィードバックを提供するI stopped in after finding this restaurant here on Happy Cow. It was a beautiful day so I wanted to stay in the waterfront area. There are three vegetarian meals and a few vegetarian salads offered. The waitress was incredibly nice, non-judgmental, and helpful when I asked if there were vegan options. I got the veggie burger, and with a few adjustments, I had a delicious vegan lunch! Very tasty I’d love to return next time I’m in DC!
From the menu, it looked like there weren't any vegan options they were listed only as vegetarian. But my server was able to ask about each of the options (as well as finding out which were gluten free) which was very helpful. She did not make me feel like an inconvenience and was very enthusiastic about helping. All the staff there were very friendly, and they are well equipped to help you find a good option on the menu. I had the impossible meat loaf which was one of the best meals I have ever had. Our server talked it up a lot and it didn't disappoint it came with vegan mashed potatoes (which she was raving about) and green beans. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the atmosphere, friendly service and reassuring knowledge of the servers made it a really enjoyable experience. I just wish they would label the menu!!
Probably better for vegetarians than vegan. We ended up going somewhere else since we would have to eat the burgers without buns and cheese to make them vegan.
I haven’t tried most of their vegan entrees but they do have a nice selection, along with the impossible burger. I ordered one and it turns out that the Impossible burger is intact impossible, for they ran out. Other than that the atmosphere was friendly and lively, but maybe not worth all the hype. I have the graden role which wasn’t fabulous.
Food was good, drinks are pretentious and not great,. The service was mediocre at best(they forgot to get us water for the table, or silverware). Then the sever added an item that was cancelled to the bill. The place was very noisy as well.
