We loved Ellington Park Bistro a few weeks ago for a quiet dinner. Brunch was good, but did not live up to the dinner. Several of us ordered an item that turned out to be a flatbread, but that wasn't clear from the description. One of our guests got an order with the wrong side and eggs fixed the wrong way. They did take it back and bring the correct order. We had asked for a quiet table upstairs because one of our party has a hearing disability. We were told that upstairs was not available for brunch. Later, we saw another party come in and get seated upstairs. And there was no way to block the sun shining in our eyes at one point during our meal. We do love the ambiance; the food is good; and we intend to come again. Brunch needs a little work.

A great culinary experience. The host, server and manager were fantastic!! Great personalities, appropriately attentive, and all around pleasant. With so many great restaurants in DC, such wonderful employees make the difference where you earn your hard money. And the food was delicious!

Huge disappointment. Service was terrible. Food was worse. The space while pretty was hotter than DC on an August day. Rubbery scallops. Soggy fries. Bad burger. Run away and run far.
