Solid spot for great fresh seafood with an attention to detail and presentation. Portions are actually relatively large as you can see in my photos. I loved it but gave it 4 stars because I did feel the cost could be a touch less.

Fantastic seafood and amazing service. Everything raw was super fresh and all the dishes were immaculately prepared. Will definitely visit again!

We visited for a lunch to celebrate my wife’s birthday and were warmly greeted with a custom printed ‘happy birthday’ menu, which we thought was a lovely touch. Waiting staff were excellent attentive and chatty. Food was top tier. Deliciously prepared and seasoned dishes, served with seasonal sides and some unique flavor pairings. We had the bistro oyster selection (all superb but the VA ones won for us) as well as fried clams as a starter delicious, the crab cakes and special black bass as mains were also superb. Great craft beer on tap too.

Consistently wonderful! Great service, great food, easy access.

We've been eating at Black Salt for years. The food is always excellent, but something has gone wrong with the food service since the pandemic. The wait for food and drinks orders is far too long, and given that we've now experienced it several times it seems fair to say there is a consistent problem. We were there at 7 pm on a Friday. Maybe that's where we went wrong. We won't book at that time again.
